Patricia wrote, directed and produced the feature “AQUÍ ENTRE NOS” (Between us), which was a box office success in Mexico, won more than 10 awards at International Film Festivals and was #1 Mexican film on Netflix and now is distributed by Amazon, Pantaya, Apple, Hulu and other platforms.
She was recognized by NALIP with the ESTELA AWARD as one of the talented Latino filmmaker that has distinguished herself through her work to date.
She has directed award-winning commercials, such as "Dad" that took the Grand Prix at the New York Festival, and "Reality" which is included in the permanent collection at the MoMA. She directed one of the "Bedtime Stories" for Milk, Grupo Gallegos, awarded with a Bronze Lion Media Award in 2013 in Cannes.
She is currently developing several feature films and TV series.
She is also the author of the book "Directoras De Cine: Proyección de un Mundo Oscuro" (“Women Directors: Projection of a Dark World”) published by the Mexican Film Institute, IMCINE.

Laura has a large trajectory in the field of cinema production and is recognized as one of the top producers in Mexico. She has participated as a jury for the tax incentives in Mexico for FIDECINE and FOPROCINE, both of them administered by the Mexican Institute of Cinematography (IMCINE) . She has shared her vast experience giving classes to the mayor cinema schools in Mexico : el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC), El Centro Universitarios de Estudios Cinematográficos (CUEC). She has also given conferences about the different initiatives of the National and International filmmaking.
Among the vast list of films she produced are: "El crimen del Padre Amaro", ("Father Amaro's crime") for Alameda Films (Carlos Carrera, 2000) , finalist at the Oscars as one of the Best Foreign Films; "Cinco días sin Nora" ("Nora's will"), that won several National and International awards, among them a handful of Arieles including the one for Best Picture .
